Description

For desalination of softened drinking water according to drinking water regulations (free chlorine not detectable).

Very high permeate recovery up to 90 % due to additional concentrate stage and high salt rejection up to 98.5 %. Short ROI/payback period (mostly < 1 year) through savings in water and waste water. Concentrate flushing device KSE and connection kit ARA already integrated.

Up to 30% energy savings due to high pressure pump with frequency converter.

General
Advantages
  • Water saving system through additional concentrate stage: permeate yield up to 90%
  • High salt rejection rate: 98,5%
  • Very low energy consumption KR/FU: -30%
  • ROI/ payback period: < 1 year through cost savings in water, waste water and energy
Good to know

Water savings by high permeate recovery up to 90%.

Footnotes

The unit is designed for a maximum TDS of 1,000 mg/l, a max. SiO2-concentration of 10 mg/l, a water temperature of 15°C, a maximum colloidal index of 3 and no permeate back pressure. Under these conditions, the unit still reaches design permeate flow after three years of operation. The permeate recovery depends on the raw water quality and the type of pre-treatment.
